Notes from the spring workshop on the coast
Six people, three days, and almost no wind. What we did on the spring workshop, and what changes for next year.

The spring workshop on the outer coast ran from the twelfth to the fourteenth of May. Six people came, from four countries. We had three days of almost no wind, which is rare up here and not what I had promised.
So we changed the plan. Instead of storms, we worked on calm water, long exposures, and the small details of the shore: rock, weed, and the line where the swell meets the beach.

What we did each day
- Day one: walking the coast, no cameras until after lunch
- Day two: sunrise at the headland, then editing at the studio
- Day three: one place, one subject, all day
I came for the storms and left with a new way of looking at a calm sea. Teo made the quiet days feel like the point.

Next year the workshop moves to late May, when the light lasts until almost midnight. There are three places left for May 2027. You can book one in the shop.
