Three small panels from the end of the year, painted on the stone ledge by the studio door.
The ledge by the door gets the last warm light of the day. In the fall I set fruit out there to ripen and started painting it before it was eaten.
These were painted for the open studio weekend. They sold on the first morning, which is why there are only three.

Palette notes
Plums have a bloom, a thin dusty gray over the dark purple. It goes on last, with a dry brush and almost no paint, and it is gone if you touch it twice.
