So I brought the landscape <em>indoors.<\/em><\/p>\n\t\n\t\t\t<div class=\"kurato-copy\"><p>Every autumn I pick what is left in the garden and on the dunes behind the house: roses, poppy pods, sea holly, grass from the side of the road. They hang upside down in the hallway for a few weeks until they are dry.<\/p>\n<p>Then they go on the kitchen table, next to the one window that faces north. The light from that window does not change much in winter, which is the point. I can work on one stem for a whole afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The series is still growing. New prints are added in spring.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"kurato-quote kurato-wrap kurato-panel wp-block-kurato-quote\">\n\t<blockquote>\n\t\t<p>\u201cA dried flower holds still for as long as you need.
