It has no temperature, and it sits on the canvas like dust. A storm sky needs a gray that leans one way or the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Three colors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I mix my grays from ultramarine, burnt sienna, and white. More blue and it goes cold. More sienna and it goes warm. Every gray in it comes from the same three tubes.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mix a lot<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mix the sky gray in a jar, not on the palette, and mix more than you need.
