The walls are tarred wood, the floor slopes toward the harbor, and nothing in the room is level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Five paintings, one wall each<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ines and I hung Storm Coast with one painting per wall, and left the long wall almost empty except for No. 1. On a gray afternoon the paintings and the sky outside were the same color. That was the best review the show could have had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leave the door open.
